Continuity Guide
Source is Manga.
Context: A collection of various comedic and self-contained stories that were skipped in the anime's rush to adapt the serious overarching plotline. The Yorozuya participate in bizarre situations, including dealing with a cursed sword, a guardian spirit competition, and helping an idol.
Continuation: Watch Gintama.: Silver Soul Arc.
Critical Note: Chronologically, these episodes take place before the events of Season 3's "Shogun Assassination Arc." Keep this in mind, as certain characters who underwent major changes or died in the serious arcs are present and acting normally here.
