Continuity Guide
Source is Light Novel.
Context: A canon prequel series focusing entirely on Megumin during her time at the Crimson Demon Academy, set before she met Kazuma and Aqua. It details the origins of her obsession with Explosion magic, her rivalry/friendship with Yunyun, and her journey to Axel.
Continuation: Prequel. Best watched after Season 1 or 2, as it provides great context for the Crimson Demon Village before watching the Legend of Crimson movie.
Critical Note: It has a slightly slower pace than the main series and lacks the complete four-person party dynamic, but it is essential viewing for fans of Megumin.
