Anime Original Story
Source is Anime-Original.
Context: A single-episode short prequel OVA set ten years before the events of the TV series, on December 24, 2029—the fateful day the Apocalypse Virus decimated Japan. It follows Scrooge, an experimental human weapon who escaped from a research facility and wields an early, flawed version of the Power of Kings, alongside Carol, a companion who aids him as they try to survive pursuit by the shadowy organization behind their creation.
Continuation: Watch the main Guilty Crown TV series, or play the prequel visual novel of the same name by Nitroplus.
Critical Note: Bundled with the special edition of the PC visual novel developed by Nitroplus, this OVA serves strictly as a canon prequel prologue. It provides backstory on the first outbreak and early Void experimentation rather than adapting ongoing print chapters.
Status: Finished.
