Anime Original Story
Source is: Anime-Original.
Context: Ryuko Matoi transfers to Honnouji Academy, a totalitarian high school ruled by the fearsome student council president Satsuki Kiryuin, in search of clues about her father's murder. Armed with a giant half-scissor blade and a sentient sailor uniform named Senketsu, she battles her way through the ranks of the student council who wear superpower-granting Goku Uniforms. The series is a high-octane, incredibly fast-paced action spectacle that escalates from schoolyard brawls to a massive war for the fate of humanity. It explores themes of fashion, fascism, and coming-of-age with Studio Trigger's signature over-the-top animation style.
Continuation: Watch the OVA Kill la Kill: GOODBYE AGAIN.
Critical Note: Kill la Kill is a fully original anime created by Studio Trigger, meaning the anime is the definitive source material. Be sure to stick around for the end credits of the final episode, as it provides a beautiful thematic conclusion to the main story.
